David Jordan

David commenced working with Elliot Tuthill in 1976 where his first duties were collecting the mail, filing papers and taking out the rubbish.

In 1981, David was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and has worked as a Solicitor since that time with Elliot Tuthill.

Away from the office, David plays golf, goes to the gym and runs a couple of times a week.  He also has a keen interest in rugby, most other sports, music and movies.

Work Areas
David’s main area of work is in the property field including commercial and residential conveyancing, leases and mortgages.  David can also assist you with the purchase or sale of a business or with your Will, Power of Attorney or Enduring Guardian as well as general legal matters.

David focuses on property law including domestic and commercial real estate, purchases and sales, commercial leases, purchase and sale of small businesses.

David has helped:

  • First home buyers buying their first home or unit;
  • People buying vacant land on which to build a house;
  • Purchasers buying units “off the plan”;
  • People buying and selling their principal place of residence;
  • Investors buying investment properties, holiday houses and farms;
  • Business people buying and selling retail or commercial properties;

  • Retirees downsizing to retirement villages such as Woolooware Shores, Frank Vickery Village, Waterbrook and Juliana Village and many other retirement accommodation types.

David has also assisted business clients in the sale and purchase of businesses ranging from small retail clothes shops and take away food shops through to large commercial undertakings.

As well as helping clients buy and sell businesses, David can help you with the leasing of any small retail shop or large commercial or industrial property.
