Sue has worked in all facets of legal practice commencing in 1977 as a receptionist, then progressing to a legal secretary, paralegal/conveyancing clerk until eventually undertaking further studies while working in the legal profession to qualify as a solicitor in 1989.

Sue then practised as an employed solicitor for the firm EC Bramble & Co in Cronulla from June 1989, having previously worked for the predecessor for that firm and then that firm as from 1979. In 1996 Sue then formed the firm of SM Boyle & Co incorporating the practice of EC Bramble & Co and continued to practise in Cronulla as a Sole Practitioner in a general practise.

After 15 years of Sole Practice Sue then joined Elliot Tuthill in September 2011 as a Consultant to concentrate on her role as a solicitor rather than dividing her time between the management of her practice and the law.

Sue’s qualifications include:

• 1. Diploma in Law (S.A.B)
• 2. Accredited Specialist Family Law
• 3. Master of Applied Law (Family Law)
• 4. Family Law Mediator

Experience
Sue has experience in the areas of law which include estates, wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardianship, Family Provision claims, conveyancing, Leases, purchases and sales of businesses and general litigation. Sue’s particular area of speciality is Family Law having attained accreditation in September 1994.

Sue has had the honour of serving as a Councillor on the Law Society of New South Wales for the period 1998 to 2001 and has served on many of the Law Society Committees including the Family Law Committee. Sue has also had the honour of holding various positions and serving on the local St George and Sutherland Law Society.

Over the years Sue has undertaken mediation courses to assist in enhancing her skills to assist clients in reaching a mediated settlement to their disputes as an alternative to litigation.
